Over the course of our HEALED AND WHOLE series, we have covered anumber of topics and started some important conversations about the healing work of Christ in the deepest parts of our lives. This week, we will examine where to go from here, and how we can put a plan in place in our lives that allows the healing power of Jesus to continue working its way through our lives. Our healing doesn't happen all at once, our growing is ongoing.

Healing from our Grief
Grief is an unignorable fact of our earthly life. There is no avoiding it, and there are no easy ways to heal. Even as Christians, we still experience theemotional burdens of grief. If not treated and cared for, grief can turn to despair and keep us stuck in our growth. The good news is that the Bible is not at all silent on grief. God invites us to lament, mourn, and discover healing in the presence of Jesus through the hope that we have in Him.

Healing From Our Anger
Most people have experienced a home life that has been touched by anger in some way or another. Oftentimes in very painful ways. We can also probably think of examples in which our own anger has resulted in wordsor decisions that caused us feelings of deep regret. Anger can be a seriousmaturity issue if we don't develop a strategy to rule over it and get it undercontrol. That said, not all anger is bad anger. How do we tell the difference?How do we resolve it in ways that are redemptive and not destructive? In this week's message we'll look to Christ's example to lead us in not only handling our anger, but healing from it.

Healing From Our Anxiousness...
Anxiety has virtually become an epidemic in modern culture. Young people today are more anxious than ever. The number of individuals seeking professional counseling and medication for anxiety related symptoms is increasing dramatically. What does the Bible have to say? Are we helpless in the face of these powerful feelings? Not at all. We can't choose what we wrestle with, but we can choose who we turn to. In Christ we can find anchors to keep us from spinning out of control when anxiousness strikes!

Healing from Shame...
Shame is a primary means to prevent us from using the gifts we have been given. And those gifts enable us to flourish as a light-bearing community of Jesus followers who work to create space for others who wish to join it to do so. Shame, therefore, is not simply an unfortunate, random, emotional event that came with us out of the primordial evolutionary soup. It is both a source and a result of evil's active assault on God's creation...its goal is to disintegrate any and every system it targets, be that one's personal story, family, marriage, friendship, church, school, community, business, or political system. Our Hurts, God's Healing...
What happens when Christians apply their effort at growing spiritually mature but not emotionally immature? It's a recipe for frustration and discouragement. Many Christians today live exactly that way, and have never been taught anything different! Yet, the good news of God's grace changes every area of our lives. God isn't content to simply change our behavior, His will is to do a total renovation and healing in every part of our lives. In this week's message, we we'll learn about God's heart for healing and see how even our deepest hurts can be redeemed by Jesus for His glory.
